GET INVOLVED

Potluck Festival

Our annual Potluck Festival is a chance for your ideas to take to the stage! Each year we select three 20 minute proposals ranging from fully formed scripts to fledgling ideas to be performed in an evening of fun, food and theatre! We want to provide the facilities and support for you to put on a show you might not have otherwise had the chance to produce. It’s also a chance for performers, directors/co-directors, stage managers, photographers and other creatives to get involved in a professional production subject to requirements. There is no theme, we ask only that you bring us your creativity and enthusiasm, we’ll sort out the rest!
To submit a proposal or enquire about any other role, email us throughout the year at tbspsubmissions@gmail.com

Auditions are held in October to be perfomed in November.

Spring Show

Our Spring Show is a conceptual, usually devised, 50 minute piece that is put forward by the Tablespoon Team. It is the year’s most physical theatre based performance, often using little to no spoken word. It’s a chance for those with experience in physical performance to develop their skills and get involved in a collaborative devising project.
There are also opportunities for composing, costume design and set design subject to demand.
Auditions are held in January to be performed in March.

The Fringe

We want the hardwork of those involved in our projects to reach as many people as possible, and so we aim to take a piece of new performance to either the Edinburgh Fringe or Glasgow’s Southside Fringe every year.
Our Fringe shows are chosen by the Tablespoon Team and can range from more traditional to conceptual theatre.
Auditions are held in April to be performed in May (Southside Fringe) August (Edinburgh Fringe)

Poetry Nights & Life Drawing events

As a company, we enjoy being able to promote multiple forms of art and performance. That is why we host regular poetry nights throughout the year spanning venues across Glasgow from Dram to GAS. Our readers however have come from all over Scotland!  We also proudly put on a number of Life Drawing events that encourage artists and models of every ability to get involved.
To enquire about reading or life modelling email us throughout the year at tbsptheatre@gmail.com
