We’re looking for collaborators in our annual theatre festival: Potluck!
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL:
This is not a full-time commitment - we are asking for people who would enjoy getting involved in a project in their spare time. No previous professional experience is required!
POTLUCK 2021 consists of six digital performance pieces to be hosted on our website and released in mid-late March (specific date TBC). This festival is going to be produced, coordinated and compiled completely remotely. While it is sad that we cannot meet in person, we are excited by the range of people this allows us to collaborate with. We see the digital platform as an opportunity to explore the boundaries of theatre rather than as a stop-gap until we can put on live shows again. Therefore, we are encouraging our participants to explore all the possibilities the digital platform presents them with.
Each performance will be hosted on our website and each is being partnered with a member of the Tablespoon Core Team. We are calling this our ‘Partner Scheme’. The Partners’ role is to act as a support, a go-between and a sounding board for those involved in the creative direction of the piece and to produce the performance. This does mean that those in creative control of the project (directors, designers etc) will have weekly check-ins with their projects’ Partner. If you have any questions about the project or about the application process please don’t hesitate to email the relevant Partner using the email addresses below!
The Partner for each project is:
- Dear Dead Jason = Alice Nottage (firstname.lastname@example.org)
- Casa Etera = Jessica Paris (email@example.com)
- Arcade Gym = Jessica Paris (firstname.lastname@example.org)
- Medusa-Vitiare = Gioia De Martino (email@example.com)
